The International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres (IAPTC) is a global network of peacekeeping training institutions that aims to promote the sharing of best practices and the development of common standards in peacekeeping training. The association has over 70 members from around the world. This year, SKIFTECH was invited to participate in the conference for the first time.
The aim of IAPTC is to contribute to more effective peace operations by:
- Promoting a better understanding of peacekeeping and its goals.
- Facilitating communication, exchange of information, and best practices among peace operations and other related education and training centers, as well as among individuals responsible for and involved in training for peacekeeping operations.
Over 70 delegates visited the SKIFTECH booth at the conference. The participants were impressed with SKIFTECH’s technology and the possibilities it offers to modernize training, especially the Individual Weapon System for fighters and the SARMAT Shoothouse.
The company was represented by local expert and partner, Emmanuel Mbengei Mwangangi, and Oleksiy Serkov, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Mombasa.
