The “Tank Shooting Range” System

The “Tank Shooting Range” training system is a simulator to practise shooting different targets from a tank.

Using the Tank Shooting Range System you can:

01

Train and improve the skills of tank gunners.

02

Learn to find and hit static or moving targets at different distances.

03

Acquire skills from interaction with the standard guidance and shooting devices.

04

Practice firing from different guns (tank cannon and machine gun).

The “Tank Shooting Range” system components:

01

Shooting simulators

02

A set of targets

Shooting simulators

For conditional fire of a cannon and machine gun a simulator with a twin emitter is used. The shooting distance and area of the cannon and machine gun are different, which makes the conventional firing of different guns as realistic as possible.

The advantages of training with a simulator:

A cannon is used to hit equipment; a machine gun is used to hit manpower.
The shot is accompanied by the loud sound of a pyrotechnic explosion, which increases the realism of training.
The number of shots may be limited, similar to the limitations of tank ammunition.

A set of targets

A set includes targets that are different in appearance and size. The targets are activated remotely according to the scenario, or manually by the instructor conducting the training. Once activated, the target is up for a certain amount of time, at which time a tank gunner must hit it.

The advantages of using a set of targets:

Target damage area and shape realistically mimic military equipment, and enemy manpower.
Two activation modes (either by training scenario or manually by the instructor conducting training)
Targets are easy to set up at the training ground and maintained after training.
