Trident Defense Initiative (TDI) in partnership with SKIFTECH conducted a course of tactical training for the Ukrainian military using simulators based on laser technology.
TDI is the largest foreign organization in Ukraine that engages former NATO military personnel for standardized training of Ukrainian forces, with almost 12,000 soldiers having undergone their training.
“Tactical simulation systems are a valuable tool for training troops in a safe and controlled environment, where they can develop and utilize critical combat skills such as communication and small unit tactics,” emphasize British instructors from the Trident Defense Initiative.
More than 35 Individual Weapon Systems, F-1 grenades and MON-50 simulators were used for TDI tactical training. They rehearsed the scenarios of close combat practice, “clearing” of the building as part of the assault groups, and the collision of two small infantry groups. Practicing such scenarios helps the group coordinate their interaction and improve the work of the unit as a whole.
